GINKGO ET LA JARDINIÈRE

Théâtre Bouches Décousues, co-produced with Théâtre Maât

In French for children 4 years and over. The gardener lives under an old tree, a ginkgo biloba. In her own whimsical, jolly way, she tends to her seeds, plants and seedlings, as well as the egg she has been growing. She harvests words and musical notes, cares for her old friend Ginkgo and calls on the wind, the rain and the sun. She acts as a bridge between seasons and generations. Presented with the financial support of the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée

Complexe sportif, 16 950 boulevard Hymus. Information 514-630-2719

Volunteers, the Town of Kirkland, and local police are cooperating to create a haunted house at Holleuffer Chalet, 75 Charlevoix Street (corner de Rougemont) on the West Island. This house will be open to the public all Halloween weekend:  It is free to enter the site, but donations are accepted there for the Special Olympics

From sundown on Friday October 28 and continuing all weekend, culminating on Monday October 31, the Day of The Dead

The scariest house in Canada this Halloween is apparently located at 1750 Du Portage, Laval. The owner, Tom Jonas, is a confirmed Halloween fanatic and his home will be decked out in all kinds of gory, gruesome and ghastly Halloween decorations guaranteed to give you the heebie-jeebies. The event is apparently free, but donations are solicited to benefit The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation of the MUHC. www.bigchills.ca
